About us

The Bright Promises Foundation supports and funds programs that help children thoughout the area have better opportunities, better lives.  At 140 years strong, it is the oldest independent organization in Illinois.  The Young Professionals Board was recently formed in 2009 to help further the goals of Bright Promises.  Our main focus is to raise awareness and funds.  We are accomplishing this through various social mediums (website, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and combining forces with other non-profits.  However, the most effective tool - and most fun! - is holding our fundraising events.  They are geared towards a younger crowd, filled with a mixed, diverse group, hopefully to grow more and more each time.  You will have the chance to network with other people in the Chicago area, get involved, raise money for a great cause, and most of all have a good time!  We have so many ideas and we'd love to hear yours.  If you want to become involved in the Young Professionals or just want to know more about who we are, what we do, please continue to check out this website, check out our events and photos, become a fan of us on Facebook and spread the word!
